As the owner of The Savvy Red Pen— bringing decades of experience in self-publishing—I’ve helped scores of authors take their manuscripts from concept to book-in-hand by offering expertise, moral support, and accountability at various stages of their process. Some of my clients’ books have become Amazon best-sellers.
My specialties include nonfiction, creative nonfiction, self-help, and memoir. My last ebook, 10-Tips to Self-Edit a Book: Increase Confidence, Save Money, and Accelerate Your Timeline, has helped clients bridge the gap from writer to author.
How This Will Work
1. 5 Live Zoom Sessions.
2. You’ll receive tips, worksheets, and articles to prep for each session.
3. All the materials, recordings, and journals are delivered and stored in a platform called Coaching Genie.
4. In each session, I’ll guide you through a book development theme on a high level, and you’ll implement the principles in real-time ( called Get It Done Time). We’ll check in intermittently for Q & A. After each session continue to refine your work throughout the week, and I’ll provide feedback and answer questions.

My confidence went from zero to infinity!
Paula, who’s writing a book on finding her true spirituality outside of organized religion, commented, “I am an author! Yes, I discovered that in the 5-day writing challenge, even though I haven’t published yet. I’m a Type A personality and an accounting/business manager with little to no creativity in me, but Gail’s process made me realize I can write this book that’s inside me and it’s possible to complete it. I was ready to join her 45-day program before Day 5! Gail is kind and down-to-earth, yet savvy and sassy enough to challenge us to write and accept where we are in the process. My confidence to complete my project went from zero to infinity!”
